Note:

Patients should decide on whether they will be opting for a 'Baby Delivery Package' or a normal admission at the point of check-in, as the hospital will not be able to accomadate a change late.

No other discounts, i.e. credit card offers, Amazing care benefits,etc.Can be combined with these prices as the packages are heavily dicounted.

When a baby is brought to the neonatal unit for specialist management, it could be for a variety of reasons, including prematurity (less than 37 weeks maturity), breathing difficulty, infection or a surgical issue.

We recognise that this is a stressful time for the family, but they can be confident that our Newborn Intensive Care Unit is able to provide the best neonatal care for the baby. The unit has had extensive experience looking after babies not only from Sri Lanka but from overseas as well.

The management of our infant patients is overseen by a team of Neonatologists, Neonatal Nurses and allied health specialist. Particularly complex or long term patients are assigned a Nurse Coordinator to co-ordinate their care.

After being discharged from Newborn Intensive Care Unit, the progress of our infant patients will be followed up by their Paediatrician or Neonatologist to inquire about the wellbeing of the baby and to help with any concerns regarding baby's health. Appointments are arranged before the patient leaves. After a baby is taken home, parents can contact NICU at any time for advice needed.
